An Old Fashioned Christmas

Let’s pop some corn and find some string
And listen at the door for the carolers to sing!

Here’s some fresh cranberries that would go fine
On a thin piece of thread stretch out in a line.

There’s candles of red and candles of green
Lighting the whole house like you’ve never seen!

The tree was cut from that group in the backyard
And choosing the right one was so very hard!

The presents are all wrapped with paper and string
And, the angel on the treetop has angel hair wings.

Homemade paper ornaments and a red bow or two
All cut from colored paper that still looks quite new!

An old fashioned Christmas.. simple in it’s design
But, some how more precious with the passage of time.
