THE FIRST LEAF OF FALL

Mother nature reminds us now
That summer has had her run
The long hot days in bright sunshine
Will fade with the season’s fun

The first leaf of fall reminds us
That there’s a new “show” in town
Featuring all the fall colors
Bright orange, yellow and brown

Autumn is here in its splendor
Breath in the magic she shows
Soon it will be a fond memory
As you put on winter’s clothes.
